The Boston Breastfeeding Coalition is committed to improving access to breastfeeding support for every parent in Boston, promoting connections between individuals and organizations that promote breastfeeding advocacy, and supporting pathways for professional lactation counselors.
January Coalition Meeting: Aiming Higher
Thank you to those who were able to attend the first coalition meeting of the year last week. During the meeting, we discussed ways the Coalition can aim higher in 2019, reflected on data from 2018,
and began brainstorming a shared agenda for the new year. The conversation focused on identifying unheard voices that the Coalition can elevate and advocacy actions that the Coalition can engage in. Here are a few follow-up items:

Call for Presenters: February Coalition Meeting
Let your voice be heard at the next Coalition meeting! We invite you to present or help lead the next Coalition meeting on February 28th by sharing about your work, a group you represent, or something else you might be doing for maternal and child health equity.

ROSE 2019 Training - 9 days left to apply!
After the success of last year’s training, we will be hosting another
Reaching Our Sisters Everywhere (ROSE) Training from February 18
th – February 20
th in the Black Box Theater at Codman Academy. Please share
the flyer and
application link with your networks and encourage them to apply for a scholarship to attend the training.
Applications are due by 1/25.
