Setting Safety Goals for 2025

As we begin a new year, many of us have just spent time with loved ones, reflecting on the past and looking forward with fresh intentions. January is an ideal time to set safety goals that will guide us throughout the year.

In our organizations, we also come together as a work family to chart a path forward. This moment offers a perfect opportunity to establish safety goals, celebrate our past successes, and reaffirm our commitment to protecting our greatest asset - our employees.

To help you achieve these goals, MSA has partnered with SkillsPass to provide informational webinars. Once a webinar is viewed in full, learners will earn a certificate of participation. This program emphasizes the importance of safety and planning while demonstrating to employees how much they are valued.

Additionally, MSA is preparing to launch an exciting new feature: EHS Analytics. This tool will be available to MSA members at no additional cost and is designed to support your journey toward achieving measurable safety goals. With EHS Analytics, you can track and analyze safety performance metrics, ensuring your safety objectives are data-driven and impactful.

Examples of measurable safety goals include:

  • Reducing incident rates by a specific percentage.
  • Increasing employee participation in safety training programs.
  • Conducting regular safety audits and achieving 100% compliance.

These examples highlight how data can drive a stronger safety culture and align teams toward common objectives.

If you require any assistance in setting safety goals please contact us anytime info@motorsafety.ca.
