As Bob Dylan once said, “The times, they are a-changin’.” After much deliberation amidst COVID-19 concerns, we have decided that it is not wise to hold our annual fundraiser The Sharing Table this year. However, we were very pleased by the response to last month's virtual fundraiser, Setting The Table. Thank you to everyone who gave or bought a raffle ticket or handcrafted bowl. Every donation will help fund programs at Santa Maria so that we may continue to be a catalyst and advocate for Greater Price Hill families to attain their educational, financial, and health goals.

We hope to see you at our 2021 The Sharing Table. In the meantime, it's not too late to give!

Please use the Donate button below to make a monetary donation or click the Visit Our Website button to find out other ways to give, including designating Santa Maria as your charity of choice on Amazon Smile or your Kroger Rewards card. Thank you for your generous support!

Brieana Gets her GED and Graduates from the BLOC Teaching Kitchen!
When Brieana first came to Santa Maria Community Services, she was eager to get her High School Equivalency diploma. Soon after enrolling, she found out that she was pregnant with her first child, Cyriana, and entered Santa Maria’s Every Child Succeeds (ECS) program. With the help of ECS, Brieana was able to obtain housing, a car seat, Pack N Play and a stroller and she still receives assistance with diapers and wipes.

Please consider donating to help people like Brieana realize their dreams!

Santa Maria Helps Robert Graduate from Per Scholas at CityLink IT-Ready Training Program
Robert came to Santa Maria Community Services (SMCS) at a time in his life where he found himself lacking in the resources and direction he needed to meet his goals and aspirations. Behind on rent, underemployed, and lacking stability, Robert entered Santa Maria’s Stable Families Program with the intention of improving these aspects of his life. Through expert coaching from Amelia Wehr, Program Manager, Stable Families and Thanapat Vichitchot, Economic Success Director at Santa Maria, as well as the knowledge and tools he gained through SMCS’s Rentwise: Tenant Education class, Robert was able to obtain the financial assistance he needed to avoid being evicted from his home.
