Lake County and neighboring counties are under a moderate threat of severe weather on Wednesday, June 22. The current forecast includes storms developing to the west of Lake County overnight tonight and moving into Lake County early Wednesday morning. The afternoon and evening storms are of most concern, as severe threats include strong winds, intense rain, large hail, and tornadoes.
Please take appropriate action to ensure your personal and family preparedness for this potential severe weather. Have a safe place to take shelter, have a family communication plan, and have multiple ways to receive critical weather warnings.
