Barbara L. sent me my first Christmas card for 2013. I squealed with joy when I opened my card to find the beautiful creation she made from my "Filigree Christmas Trees" set all bejeweled and decked out. The picture doesn't do it justice. Barbara--thank you so very much for this card. I'll treasure it for years to come.
New Technique!

Last month I mentioned how Debbie Henry, of Sew Blest, changed my "Christmas Cookies" design set from ordinary applique into "free-standing applique". Debbie shared with all of you her FREE instructions using her technique which I posted on my Facebook page. Some of you wrote in and said that you "don't do Facebook." So I've included them here. We don't want to leave anyone out of the fun we've been having creating "free-standing applique" projects.
I had to try Debby's technique making tags. What fun! Make your packages just as special on the outside as they are on the inside with a unique tag lovingly created by you!
Personalize the back with the recipient's name. The gift tag can become a keepsake ornament.
