Sew Unique Community Outreach
Sew Unique helps support the Uganda Project managed by Heshima Ministries. In Uganda, women do not have access to disposable feminine products. Therefore, our mission with this project is to make thousands of washable feminine pads and a crossbody bag for women to hold their products. If you have at least an hour to sew, please stop by the store to help us make these items. We will provide sewing machines, thread, and all the materials needed to make these items. The items will be precut, so all you must do is sew! No need to make an appointment, just drop by the store between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM.

Irish Chain Quilt Class
Join us to learn about the Irish Chain Quilt. We will focus on the single Irish Chain, but will discuss the other types of Irish Chain Quilts. The first of 3 classes will be on Friday, March 27 at 10:30. Each class will be about an hour. At the end of the third class, you will have a quilt top that measures about 91" x 97". You must be familiar with your sewing machine and have previous sewing experience. The supply list will be given on the first day of class, March 27. Do not miss out on this fun class!

Color Wars In-House Retreat

BEGINNING QUILTING CLASS
Learn about fabric, rotary cutting, block assembly, chain piecing, borders, binding, and quilting by machine in 7 easy lessons. You will learn everything you need to know to successfully finish your First Quilt in class. Every student needs to know how to use their sewing machine. We urge you not to buy anything until you have a chance to examine quilting tools, mats, and rotary cutters from various manufactures during class, so that you can choose what works best for you!
