Greetings!

Listen up PLAYER...this weekend at Seward Park we are beginning Match Play!  Its fun, its free, and its for the table tennis player.  In the coming months, LoopKill and Seward Park will organize match play, team play, tournament play, and other competitions like handicap events.  Check details below for Match Play and we will see you on saturday at Seward!  For more information about Seward and other table tennis events around other Chicago park district table tennis venues - check out LoopKill on facebook.

Match Play

Match Play will be played on table 1 and this is how it works...  When you play somebody, the winner will gain points and the loser will lose points.  Its exactly how a sanctioned tournament works and its exactly how our match play will work.  We will use the chart below to calculate Seward Park ratings and rankings.  For starters, if you have a USATT rating; we will use it.  If your rating is out of date, our committee may 'adjust' it to make it current.   So, check out the ratings and rankings posted on the wall this saturday and sign up to challenge any player rated ABOVE you!  Let the games begin!
