Chino Valley Unified to vote on the Model Parental Rights Policy
Earlier this month, we put forward a policy for discussion in Chino Valley Unified School District that places parents as the decision-makers when it comes to sensitive topics in schools. Hundreds of parents and community members showed up to the meeting! Unfortunately, some progressive school board members are opposing this policy and misleading the public about the law and parental rights. Read Alliance Defending Freedom's legal memo on the Model Parental Rights Policy.
Now, this policy will be up for a vote on October 18th. We need you to join us!

A parent-friendly policy will be on the agenda for the Board to vote on at this meeting. It is CRUCIAL that parents and community members show up to make their voices heard in support of parental rights. Community involvement is the only way to implement a policy that supports parental rights, rather than policies that strip parents of rights and expose children to sensitive and controversial issues without their knowledge or consent.
5 Ways to Make a Difference:
1. Attend the School Board Meeting:
Date: Thursday, October 18th
Time: 7pm
Location: 5130 Riverside Drive, Chino, CA 91710
2. Contact the School Board Members before October 18th and ask them to pass the "Parental Rights in Child's Education Policy" to make parents the primary decision-makers when it comes to sensitive topics and issues.
