This panel will explore the legal landscape of sexual assault litigation in the entertainment and fashion sectors. It will shed light on the systemic forces that can foster abusive behavior—such as entrenched power hierarchies, industry gatekeeping, loosely regulated environments, and pervasive silence. Through carefully selected case studies, the panelists will dissect the most common legal claims, outline the structural anatomy of these lawsuits, and provide a nuanced understanding of how such litigation is framed and navigated in practice. The Litigation section is chaired by Rachael Kogen.
