The Buddy System
Although Covid 19 requires a certain degree of physical separation, it is essential to maintain meaningful connections with one another.
Towards that end, we are looking for volunteer 'Phone Buddies' - people to be in touch with other members on a regular basis during this time of physical distancing. To volunteer -- or if you are interested in having someone call you -- please e-mail PetaPellach@gmail.com to express your interest. Thank you to Peta for spearheading this important initiative.

Thank You and B'Hatzlacha
We conclude this week's newsletter with words of gratitude to Rabbi Yaakov Kermaier, who has graciously served on a volunteer basis as the Rabbi of our Shir Hadash on Emek branch for the past two years.
For both personal and professional reasons, he has now decided to direct his time and community-building efforts in his own initiatives, such as Yakir, an organization focusing on the multi-faceted nature of Israeli society.
We are grateful for his leadership and many contributions to the SH on Emek community, and wish him much success in all his future endeavors.
Shir Hadash's activities take place in Beit Natan, located at Yakov Rubin Street #1, overlooing the Moon Grove (Chorshat HaYa're'ach) on the border of the German Colony and Talbiya Neighborhoods. (Click here for Map)
