Shabbat Shuva
Shabbat Shuvah Drasha at 5:15 PM, This year Rav Yosef has chosen the topic, “תַּן דַּעְתְּךָ שֶׁלֹּא תְּקַלְקֵל וְתַחֲרִיב אֶת עוֹלָמִי : Yom Kippur as Earth Day”. The Drasha will be devoted to utilizing foundational sources within Biblical and Rabbinic tradition to create an authentic and empowering framework for conceptually and practically approaching the challenge of our generation.
Traditionally, the Shabbat Shuvah Drasha is one of the central gatherings of our year, when we take the time to deeply explore an idea and its ramifications for the way we live, as individuals and as a B'nai David community. Please be sure to join us. Childcare will be provided in Rechov Yeladim.
The Drasha is dedicated to the memory of Albert Kanefsky a”h, on the occasion of his 19th yahrzeit.
Also on Shabbat Shuva, Teen Minyan will be starting on Saturday, September 11th, at 10:00 AM at the Kolieb backyard (9023 Cresta Drive). There will be a great kiddush! Future dates: September 18th and 21st.
