After the second session of BDJ’s three-part series, “Nuanced Zionism,” our BDJ group agreed that we couldn’t yet move to the final planned session without also including voices from East Jerusalem:

Amal Khayat is a graduate of Al Quds University in East Jerusalem, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health at the Hebrew University. She is a dialogue facilitator with an organization called Siach Shalom, and is also the Palestinian coordinator for a UK-based organization called Solutions Not Sides.

Mahfouz Turk is an East Jerusalem photojournalist who has been documenting the Palestinian story in East Jerusalem and the West Bank for many decades.
