The PDF for the service can be found on the homepage of our website and the Zoom link will be emailed to those who are registered. The service will be sponsored by Rabbi Emerita Axe and her family in loving memory of Harold Axe on the occasion of his first yahrzeit. To honor Harold's memory, Shir Ami has used funds from donations that were made last year to the Harold Axe Memorial Fund, to purchase a beautiful Eternal Light made from Murano glass. It is on it's way from Italy and we hope to have it in time for our April 9th Service. If it isn't here physically by then, we will show you all a photo of it at the service. Happy Passover! We had a wonderful Passover Seder this past Sunday. Thank you all for participating as we sang, read the 4 questions, recalled the exodus from Egypt and shared our glasses of wine together. It is not too late to share some of your favorite Passover recipes to add to our website's new Passover Recipe page. Please email us your favorite recipe.

We Want Your Feedback This coming Monday April 5th we have a Shir Ami Board Meeting at 7:30 PM via Zoom and our main topic will be to discuss the possibility, timing and safety issues related to future in person Shir Ami services and classes. We have invited two of our members who are doctors to join us for a discussion on this topic - Dr. Jim Roth and Dr. David Radin. We will not move to in person gatherings until we feel it is safe for everyone involved, but we want to get a better sense of what that might look like and what criteria we would need to have in place in order to make that decision. We really value all of your ideas and concerns so please share them with us. Shir Ami's Rosh Chodesh Study Group Monday, April 12th 7:30 PM via Zoom Not required, but if you have the book, please read chapters 18 and 19. My Jewish Year, 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew by Abigail Pogrebin  Interested in forging a deeper sense of spirituality and connection to the holidays? Come celebrate the New Month and do a "deep dive" into the Jewish calendar with other women from Shir Ami. Noted author and feminist, Abigail Pogrebin, takes us on a one year journey through the entire Jewish calendar in her book, My Jewish Year. Each session is a stand alone. The book will be our guide but if you haven't read the chapter you can still participate.   Bring your own cup of tea!

Men's Study Group Discussing the Israeli Election: First Reform Rabbi Elected to Knesset Sunday, April 25th 10:30am via Zoom Rabbi Gilad Kariv has made history by becoming the first non-Orthodox rabbi to serve as an Israeli lawmaker. Bring a cup of coffee and join Cantor Abramson for a discussion on the implications of this historic first.
