Each Saturday morning, we gather online to examine the Torah portion assigned to the week through the lens of Mussar, a Jewish ethics-based framework where we work on improving our soul-traits. While searching for new insights regarding how our ancient tradition applies to our modern lives, we use “The Mussar Torah Commentary,” edited by Rabbi Barry Block, as the basis for this year’s discussion.

No prior Torah Study experience required, just hop online and BYOC ("Bring Your Own Coffee")!

Chloe Kron will become a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Chloe is the daughter of Ami and Kelly Kron and the sister of Brady. She is the granddaughter of Anna and Henry Kron of Glendale, Teresa and Ken Senio of Phoenix and the great granddaughter of Elizabeth Fischer of Phoenix.

Chloe is currently in the eighth grade and has been an accomplished, competitive gymnast of USA Youth Fitness Center of Gilbert for the past six years. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her friends.

For her Bat Mitzvah project, Chloe hosted a day of service benefitting Halo Animal Rescue where participants created dog toys out of recycled t-shirts and baked healthy dog treats for the shelter animals.

Mazel tov, Chloe!
