Our Beth Am trip departs on February 2nd for a spectacular adventure in Uganda. We are collecting the following items that have been requested by the Jewish community. Drop off by January 31.
We are collecting:
- Chumashim (especially Etz Chayim)

- Medical Gloves

Come participate in the Jewish mystical ritual of the Tu B’Shvat seder. On the eve of the birthday of the trees, we come together, to sing, to learn, and to eat symbolic fruits that connect us to our environment, our community, and ourselves. Congregants of all ages are invited to attend!

A visionary leader and one of history’s most influential, yet underrecognized, American Jewish women, Henrietta Szold left an indelible mark on the 20th century. This heartfelt documentary brings long overdue
recognition to Szold, a daughter of Baltimore, a graduate of Western High School, and the creator of Baltimore’s Russian Night School. The film offers a thought-provoking look at a woman who reshaped history through
compassion and an unwavering belief in the power of humanity.
Screening followed by discussion with director Abby Ginzberg, and Sally Levin, Henrietta’s grandniece, moderated by historian Barry Kessler.
