How do I measure the past three years as president of Beth Emet? 150 Shabbatot,100 challah midrashim, 40 board meetings, 100 office hours, and at least 1000 hours on Zoom!
As I reflect on my term as Beth Emet's 34th president, I feel that there is a lot to be proud of and to celebrate, and there were also some very difficult moments. It has truly been my honor to lead Beth Emet, and I have come to appreciate the Beth Emet family even more than I had thought was possible.
We are marking the transition of officers and trustees in two ways this year:
Tonight at 6:30 pm for Kabbalat Shabbat services: We will celebrate Beth Emet's officers and trustees. We hope you will come in person, or watch on
LiveControl- whichever you prefer.
Monday, March 21 at 7:00 pm for the Annual Meeting on Zoom: We will provide an update on the state of our congregation, including a recap of the past year from several of our leaders. You will not want to miss hearing from our amazing incoming president Lee Weintraub about his vision for Beth Emet's future.
Beth Emet is fortunate to have an amazing cadre of folks who lead us, inspire us, challenge us, teach us, and help us grow. I know Beth Emet will thrive under Lee Weintraub and his team's leadership for the next three years!
Thank you for your encouragement, your questions, your concerns, your energy, your support, and for sharing yourself with Beth Emet.
Shabbat Shalom!
Karen Isaacson
34th Board President
