Happy post-Thanksgiving!
Chanukah--the Festival of Lights—begins this Sunday evening Nov. 28.
 
Serendipitously, our Tikkun Middot va’ad (a small group that looks at our character traits) is delving into ‘courage’ now, and the legend of Chanukah is certainly full of Hollywood-worthy acts of courage. As I watch Chanukah candles glow, I’m also thinking about the every-day challenges I face, and wondering if I’ll have the courage to stand tall. I love this quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'

1st Night: Virtual Chanukah Candle Lighting
Celebrate Chanukah as a community by joining on zoom each night at 6:30 pm for candlelighting, led by our members. In this time of rededication come learn how we can each rededicate ourselves through the lens of Beit T'filah, Beit Sefer, Beit Knesset, Beit Tzedek, and Beit Chesed. On this first night, we will hear an overview of the many themes we'll be focusing on during our Chanukah candle lighting celebrations.
