I'm so very proud I am of my awesome b'nai mitzvah students. Their hearts and souls are tremendous as they are making a difference in our community. The most important part about becoming a bar or bat mitzvah (son or daughter of the Commandments) is making your the world a better place because of your mitzvot. My tremendous students are certainly making our world a better place. I wanted to share just some of the blessings that my current students are giving us. The following is just a very partial list of some current charities, organizations and causes that these young men and women are helping: - Helping children learn to read - Winter clothing drive - Toy collection for CHOP - Book drive for Camden elementary school library - Volunteering in local library - Collecting gently used sports equipment for the needy - Volunteering at local animal shelter - Volunteering at animal refuge - Soup kitchen - MS Society - Local Yellow Ribbon - Pencils of Promise If you're interested in helping or learning further about any of these mitzvah projects of my current students, please contact me.
