"Raise a Family of our own, you and me"
Though Finland came in first, Israel ranked a strong 3rd place by American expats who are raising their families in foreign countries. Childcare and education options are ample here in Israel (where I still am, hence the abbreviated message this week) and you certainly can't beat the food and weather, though sometimes the political climate can get heated. You can check out the top 19 countries at this site just in case (for whatever reason) you decide to become an expat yourself.

"Seventy six trombones led the big parade"
I really like this song from that Apple Airpod commercial where the guy dances on the walls.  Here's the song and a little history about the band, Marian Hill, who've known each other since middle school. Their name comes from the hint in the title of this paragraph.

"Traveling Light"
Leonard Cohen's son created a beautiful memorial montage to his late father with this haunting song as the backdrop.  I found it moving and powerful.  Hope you enjoy it too. The video is embedded in this recent Rolling Stone article:

Another week in Tel Aviv with
an abbreviated message but as always,
wishing you and your families a
Sweet and Peaceful Shabbat Shalom
