Shabbat Shalom!  In this Torah portion, Re'eh, Moses tells the Israelites that if they worship idols, they will be punished. Moses explains the laws of kosher food, and he details the three pilgrimage festivals: Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot.

Kabbalat Shabbat services this evening are at 6:15 pm. Shabbat morning services are at 9:15 am. Rabbinic Intern David Chapman will be with us for Shabbat this weekend.

Candle lighting is at 7:13 pm this evening.

Thought Question: There is tremendous focus on the book of Deuteronomy of idol worship. What idols do we need to avoid in our world today?

Please Note: Our minyan, office, and schools are closed this coming Monday in observance of Labor Day.

It's time to register for Religious School and Nesiyah (our teen programming). All families with children prek-12th grade should check out our updated website with all of the plans for this year...and register today!
