Praying Body Workshop
a Post-Kiddush Learning
Shabbat, November 7
Using theater practices and physical movement, this workshop teaches prayer from the inside out. Rather than beginning with liturgy or external performance, we invite participants to first encounter their own internal landscape: the place where prayer begins before words emerge. We focus on Kavod (reverence/presence) and Hitpa'alut (wonder/awakened awareness). The goal is to reclaim embodied spiritual practice, training leaders to guide communities toward prayer as something we inhabit, not just perform. Led by Cantor Tamar Havilio.
