About Rabbi Noam Katz
Rabbi Noam Katz is one of the most exciting and influential voices in contemporary Jewish music, bringing high-flying energy and soulful melodies to Jewish and interfaith communities across North America, Africa, and Israel.
A longtime songleader and educator at URJ Eisner, George, and Kutz Camps, Noam has performed at URJ Biennials, Limmud England, NFTY Convention, and countless camps and congregations. He currently serves as Rabbi/Dean of Jewish Living at The Leo Baeck Day School in Toronto.
Noam has released four albums of original Jewish music, including RAKIA, MIREMBE, SALAAM V’SHALOM, A Drum in Hand, and his newest release, After the Flood, which centers on resilience and remembrance.
Since volunteering with the Abayudaya Jewish community in Uganda in 2003, Noam has shared their music and story with audiences of all ages, weaving themes of Jewish unity and tikkun olam into his work.
