Shabbat Shuvah

This Shabbat morning at 10:00 am
Online Only!
Due to repairs in our Sanctuary
All services (Shabbat and Weekday Minyans) will be online

Shabbat Shuva is the Shabbat in between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Many of the unique additions to the service of the High Holidays are included in this special Shabbat.
The Torah portion Vayelech is almost the conclusion of the Torah and Moses is told to pass the mantle of leadership on to Joshua. God's prayer for the Israelites is Chizku V'Imtzu, Be strong and of good resolve as you move forward. These are the words we have chosen for the 9/11 commemoration to be held tomorrow, Saturday at 2 pm at the First Presbyterian Church.

The Haftorah for Shabbat Shuva will be chanted by Dr. Rick Blum as he did on his Bar Mitzvah a few years back. SHUVA YISRAEL- Return, O Israel!
