Sprout Westchester Day Camp is
Seeking Summer Host Families for Israeli Shlichim (representatives)

This year, Young Judaea Sprout Westchester is honored and excited to once again welcome our Summer Shlichim from Israel. Our Summer Shlichim are integral staff members of our camp community and bring a strong sense of Israeli culture, language, and pride to our Sprout Westchester campers. Over the years, Jewish families of Westchester have graciously hosted our Shlichim and it has served as a wonderful experience for both their own families as well as the Shlichim - it is a wonderful opportunity to bring Hebrew language into the home.

We are looking for families to host the Shlichim from June 20 - August 7 (partial stays are possible). Additionally, if you would like to host a Shabbat meal, that would be wonderful as well!

Please reach out to rebecca@sproutwestchester
for questions and if interested.
Volunteer Opportunity

We need your help! The Ossining Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer organization and, as such, our volunteers are critical to Food Pantry operations. Without them (and our loyal donors) we could not serve those in need.

We need all types of volunteers:
  • Strong adults to help unload trucks, set up tables and carry groceries.
  • Adults who enjoy interfacing with the community.
  • Young adults (Juniors and Seniors) to work behind the scenes.
  • Bilingual adults to help with our Spanish speaking clients.
  • Computer literate adults to help with client data input.

If you or someone you know is interested or would like more information, please contact the Food Pantry as follows:
Send an email via our website: Contact Us To Volunteer
Send an email to: Ossining Food Pantry Email
Call 914-762-5510 and please leave a voicemail message. A volunteer will return your call.

Thank you!
