Just after Sukkot, we welcomed over 60 lone soldiers and lone b'not sherut to our second annual Shabbaton in Mitzpe Ilan. Away from their routine and surrounded by a caring community, our participants experienced the warmth and connection that made Shabbat so special.
A special thanks to the Katz family and the entire Mitzpe Ilan community who opened their hearts and homes to us, creating an unforgettable weekend of meaning and friendship.
We also hosted a dedicated Shabbaton for 85 Russian-speaking lone soldiers, among them many experiencing their first Shabbat away from home.
Hear what our participants had to say:
"Thanks to you, I had an amazing Shabbat. When you're here, there's sunshine in the world"
"Thank YOU so much! I really appreciate all of your guys' effort to make this Shabbat fun and smooth"
"Such an amazing weekend, I wish it could be every weekend"
