UPDATE ON CHARITABLE DONATION DEADLINE

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. Your generosity throughout the year has been instrumental in allowing us to serve and support our community.

We also wanted to update you on the charitable donation deadline. While some questions remain, we are hopeful that the Canada Revenue Agency's Charities Directorate will soon provide a clear statement regarding the proposed extension. This statement will likely include details on how the extension will be implemented and address any remaining questions from the charitable sector.

As always, we will be issuing our 2024 tax receipts by the end of January. If you have any questions or notice any missing details, please don’t hesitate to reach out after February 15th.

If the government decides to extend the deadline, we will issue additional receipts accordingly to reflect the updated timeline.

Thank you for your ongoing generosity. Should you have any inquiries or need further clarification, please feel free to contact David Grant at dgrant@villageshul.com.
