We’re excited to announce that the Chai Lifeline Canada 2024 Toy Drive will run from December 1st to December 20th. Chai Lifeline supports over 400 families across Canada, offering vital programs during challenging times.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, last year we collected over 5,000 toys, bringing joy and comfort to families navigating life-threatening and chronic illnesses.
This year, The Village Shul is proud to join this meaningful initiative! You’ll find two toy bins on the main floor and second floor—a perfect opportunity to share in the spirit of giving.
Please contribute a brand-new toy for any age or gender and help us make a big difference in the lives of families who need it most.

Clean Speech Toronto is off to a fantastic start! Jewish organizations across the city are creatively bringing our message to life. Associated Hebrew Schools kicked things off at their Rosh Chodesh ceremony, Netivot is featuring Clean Speech in their Bullying Awareness programming, and our dozens of Participant Organizations are amplifying our daily videos on social media. The Tots Together program needs your help. As you know, Village Shul neighborhood has limited free parking. We are appealing to you, dear Shul member, to see if any of you have an open parking space at your homes that we can offer to our teachers for the hours of 8:15/30 AM to 1:00 PM/3:30 PM.
