SHABBOS ROSH CHODESH/PARSHAS SHEKALIM

This Shabbos, we will take out three Sifrei Torah. The first six Aliyahs will be the completion of Parshas Terumah (with Shishi and Shevii being combined). The second Sefer Torah will be for Rosh Chodesh (from Parshas Pinchas). The third Sefer Torah will be for Parshas Shekalim (which is the first of the four special Maftirs at this time of the year) and will be from the beginning of Parshas Ki Sisa, dealing with the Mitzvah of Machatzis HaShekel.

Mazel tov to Shlomo and Elana Lebhar on the birth and naming of their daughter Zahava. A special Mazal Tov to the grandparents, Rabbi & Mrs. Mordechai and Lori Lebhar.

SPECIAL SIT-DOWN KIDDUSH

We thank Zev and Meira Amster for sponsoring a special sit-down Kiddush in honor of Zev being chosen as Chosson Bereishis on Simchas Torah. There will be a buffet in the classrooms – the closest to the front will be for the women and closest to the kitchen will be for the men. There will be seating in the SBM – men’s seating to the left and women’s seating to the right. In the Ezras Nashim in the main shul, there will be family seating for parents and children together.

In celebration of Rosh Chodesh Adar, extra Simcha-filled Kabbalos Shabbos with vocal accompaniment @ 5:45pm.

Soulful Heimish Oneg at the Fisgus home in appreciation to LINK for Rabbi Fisgus' Chosson Torah is @ 9:00pm at the Fisgus Home at 1437 S Bedford.

Leibedik Shachris/Hallel/Mussaf with vocal accompaniment Shabbos morning starting at 8:30am.

Joyful and mouthwatering sit-down Kiddush with singing and Divrei Torah @11:10, sponsored by the Amster family in appreciation to LINK for Zev's Chosson Bereishis.

Sublime Shalosh Seudos filled with Divrei Torah and elevated singing @ 5:40pm.

Friendly Reminders for Shabbos Morning Children’s Groups

1. Parent(s) MUST remain in the LINK building for the entire duration of the time that they leave their children at Shabbos Groups. 

2. For everyone's safety as well as for our congregants’ ability to be to daven with kavanah, please make sure that your child is either in their designated group or in the shul sanctuary supervised by you. We cannot have children roaming the hallways, or running in and out of the sanctuary, kitchen or classrooms.

3. As soon as davening ends, please go to your child's group and pick them up from the designated room.

The above rules will be strictly enforced
