World of Worlds
And G-d said...(Breishis 1:3)
The World was created with Ten Sayings. (Tractate Avos 5; 1)
You know friends, this world was created by G-d's word. But let me ask you, what does this mean? Basically, the world only has vessels to receive that light which has words, which is the world we are living in. But G-d created man for something else, for something deeper.
G-d wants man to bring that light which has no words into the world. Our presence in the world is the holiness of bringing in that deep, deep light which has no words, it's deeper than words.
You see, Adam was created first. Adam was living in a world of words. But you know something? With words you are still lonesome. When do you stop being lonesome? When there is somebody who is connected to you on that level which is higher than words. Therefore when a couple gets married the woman is silent during the chuppa, because the woman is bringing down this absolute highest light which has no words.
And here friends, you have to open your hearts. There are times during the prayers when we can sit because it's a prayer of words. When it comes to ShemoneEsrei you have to stand. Although it has words, they have to be uttered in silence, in a whisper, even less than a whisper. A whisper means that even the words I am saying are not really words. It's much deeper than words
