Mazal Tov to Elazar and Ronica Shemtov on their son Yitzchak becoming a Bar Mitzvah this Sunday night! May he continue to grow in Yiras Shamayim and Middos Tovos!
Mazal Tov to Rabbi and Mrs. Tzvi and Suzanne (Raizy) Haber (who were members of the LINK Kollel from 2007-2013, spanning Westwood and Pico) on the upcoming Chasunah of their daughter Aleeza to Dovi Beigeleisen this coming Monday night in Lakewood, NJ! May they build a Bayis N’Eman B’Yisroel!
Mazal Tov to Rabbi and Mrs. Bentzi and Sarah Kranz on the birth of a baby boy! May they merit to raise him to Torah, Chuppah, and Ma’asim Tovim! Shalom Zachor will be Friday night at 9pm at 1142 S. La Peer Dr. Bris IY’H will take place Sunday morning after the 7:30 minyan (approximately 8:15am) at LINK.
KIDDUSH LEVANA
Weather permitting, we will perform Kiddush Levana this Motzei Shabbos. The latest time to do Kiddush Levana for the month of Cheshvan is Sunday night October 25th at 7:05pm.
BENTCHING BAHAB
On Shabbos, we will bentch those individuals who will be fasting BAHAB” this coming Monday , Thursday, and the following Monday. It may be found in the ArtScroll Siddur on page 458.
MINYAN MERGER
Beginning this coming Monday, October 19, the Neitz Minyan and the “6:45 minyan” will be combined on Mondays and Thursdays at the Neitz Minyan time. Monday morning, the Minyan will take place at 6:36am on Monday and on Thursday, it will begin at 6:39am. This will continue until we turn the clocks back in two weeks.
QUESTION OF THE WEEK
A forty-day Mabul – Six other places in the Torah where we have a 40-day period. (Hint – None in Vayikra).
