Shabby Shutters is very excited to bring the shop to you! As the new releases make their way, I plan on holding back a few surprises for those attending.

I also wish to advise you that I will not have access to a debit machine. Those who wish to pay by credit, I'll have the older manual card printer with me to accommodated this need but, as an offer for your inconvenience, if you pay in cash, I will round off your order to the nearest dollar and not charge tax!!

Understanding the challenges with finding time to be involved in activities outside of the home, we decided to reward a lucky winner each month.

Each time you come to Shabby Shutters, to participate in any event {class, crop night, demo's, project corner, etc} your name will be entered to win a prize package worth $50. If you bring someone with you {a buddy} their name gets entered once and your name gets entered twice!! increasing your chances to win.

A name will be drawn the first working day on the following month to announce the winner. This will end one month and start a new month.

Prolonging the life of your Cricut mats.

One customer requested we get in a particular type of Zig adhesive....the wide chisel tip tube.

When I requested why she said she used it to re stick her cricut mats. These are her directions:

First you use Goo Gone to remove the old adhesive and paper crumbs that are attached
Then I scrape that off with a flat edged bowl scraper
Then I wash the mats to get rid of the residue
When it's dry, I cover it with the Zig pen glue (It is smart to tape off the edges with painters tape so you have a clean line)
Let it sit for a while to dry before you put the covers back on

I'm so happy to say that full force e-commence is coming to Shabby Shutters!!

Over the next few weeks the Web Site Fairy and I are going to be keeping some very late hours in order to transfer over 1200 product files.

Why would we do this you may ask??? It's so when you browse the web site and decide you wish to purchase an item, that experience for you can be effortless, simple and positive. Once up and running, if it is anything other than this, please let us know.

Until we are ready to make the switch the web site will stay as is with one exception. Over the next few weeks the new arrivals will not be shown. I will however post updates of new arrival in the blog section of the website so please check in often as new releases are coming in regularly.
