This past Easter Sunday, we said goodbye to Travis Myers. For several years, he shared his talents of playing several instruments, singing, and composing with us. We will miss him, and we wish him well. We sent over 50 cards and notes of appreciation to him. We also purchased a bassinet as a goodbye gift for him and Hillary. Travis will always have a place in our spiritual home.

This Sunday, we welcome Kate Vincent in her new role as our music leader. She will be with us for the remainder of our program year. Then she and Nate will take some time to have a baby. James Murray will join us in August. More information regarding them and their place with us is forthcoming.

The Gift of A Book Is Coming Your Way!

This inspiring book presents powerful principles, tools, and practices for transforming self-limiting patterns of thought and behaviors and for staying in the present, even in the midst of very difficult feelings. Drawing from individual counseling sessions and utilizing practical exercises, Dr. Moss demonstrates how awareness and presence can be applied to support change in yourself and others, thereby creating a solid bridge between knowing and doing.

Inside-Out Healing will help you:

• Become more available and fully connected with yourself and others

• Build a solid foundation for healing in all areas of your life

• Be better able to handle difficult situations with more elegance and ease

• Improve both personal and professional relationships

• Expand your capacity for genuine empathy and compassion

• Experience more richness, gratitude, and fulfillment in your life and relationships

Are you ready for a shift of consciousness that liberates your mind and heart?

Skip Pearson wants to give you a free book on April 27th.

Skip Pearson grew up in rural Minnesota. He was a lawyer in private practice for 12 years and a part-time public defender as well. He became a trial court judge and worked in that capacity for 22 years. He served on the Minnesota Supreme Court Racial Bias Task Force and was one of the people essential in developing a Domestic Violence Specialty Court that became a model for other counties throughout our nation. Judge Pearson sought a better way for the judicial system to respond better to the devastating harm caused by domestic violence.

Late in his career he found Richard Moss's book, Inside-Out Healing. What he read resonated with him and he applied the principles of the book to his life. This has made such a positive change in his life he is compelled to share it with you. He will give us the message April 27th.

You heard about being in the NOW, but what does that really mean?

(hint: it's not about being narcissistic)

What are the benefits of being in the NOW?

How does a person get to the NOW?

What are the two basic mistakes people make that keep them from the NOW?

Is there really a practical, straightforward, understandable method to overcome these mistakes that help people to return to the NOW?

Skip has asked and answered these questions for himself. Come and hear how we can address these questions April 27th at 10:15 AM

WHAT IS NEXT FOR OUR SPIRITUAL PLAY KIDS?

Hi all,

It was a beautiful sunny day on the playground and the kiddos just loved playing so much. Everyone was busy!

We visited Australia this week! I read an Aboriginal creation story called, “The Rainbow Serpent.” It is a story in the Aboriginal culture of how the landscape of the earth came to be during the Dreamtime, the time when the earth was being created. We talked about what the kiddos wonder about the beginning of time. They came up with so many great questions.

We had 3 stations available for the kiddos. First, we had the sensory experience of play dough! I can’t believe how many kiddos wanted to go there first.

Second, there was dot painting with Q-tips and outlines of Australian animals. This was inspired by Aboriginal dot art.

Third, we made a collaborative piece of art which was a large piece of paper with an outline of a snake and all the kiddos contributed to making it bright and colorful- our very own Warnayarra, The Rainbow Serpent.

Snack was cheese cubes, sliced grapes, and crackers.

Our time on our mats started with Box Breathing, a review from last week. Next, we watched another Dreamtime story being told, How the Koala Got its Stumpy Tail.

Then we did a Kangaroo-themed yoga adventure.

Thank you for sharing these amazing kiddos with us!

Next week, we head to Ghana, Africa!

You are loved!
