Good morning!
It's December! Our students have learned so much and shown a ton of growth in this first third of the year. There is no school today as teachers work on report cards for the end of the first trimester. It's a great time to reflect. I'm proud of our students and staff for all of the hard work they've put in so far and the growth that comes with it. We have much to do, and I know our next trimester will be a great one.
We also welcomed winter this weekend. Depending on your view of snow, it was either a fantastic weekend or a terrible one. But one of the great winter joys of Shady Lane is now present, the snowhill! We will talk about the rules of the snowhill tomorrow morning, but please make sure your child is properly dressed for winter weather. Boots, snow pants, a proper jacket, hats and mittens are necessary, not only to enjoy playing in the snow, but the be comfortable outside. Please label your child's items, as it is easy to get mixed up, and let us know if you need help with winter clothing.
Thank you,
Brad Hoffman - Principal
Tanya Brenner - Associate Principal
