Good afternoon!

I hope you've been enjoying your weekend. The Brewers got it done last night with a great win over the Cubs. 3 wins down, 8 to go. There are a lot of games to be played, and we can't really have that many Brewers days, but we start off the week with another Brewers Day tomorrow!

Also, remember there is no school for students this coming Friday, October 17th. Teachers and staff will be spending the day learning and expanding their knowledge to continue to be the best that we can be for our students

WOOHOO! Our Shady Lane & Valley View community raised $37,878!!!

We are so PROUD and THANKFUL for our Shady Lane and Valley View families! THANK YOU for your generosity! These funds go straight back to creating fun family events, student & classroom needs, staff appreciation, school improvements & more!

We will have an assembly on Wednesday where the top 5 money raisers will make Mr. Hoffman into a Human Sundae!

Safety Reminders

Please do not use the west staff parking lot for morning drop off. There are staff that arrive at school during drop off time and are having a tough time finding parking. And increased traffic in and out of that lot creates a safety hazard for people driving on Roosevelt and for families walking. Please obey the signs.
When walking on the sidewalk near the busses in the morning, please stay well clear of the busses. The drivers have said that they've noticed several students and parents getting dangerously close to the wheels.
