Fernway Students Interview Dr. Glasner

Ms. Paskewitz's Fernway class hosted Dr. Glasner for an interview in connection with the IB unit "How We Organize Ourselves," in which the students have started to develop a town called Mountain Valley.

In this project, each student has a job (e.g., superintendent of schools, health and safety, etc.), and they wrote their questions for Dr. Glasner from the perspective of their role. They also researched different landforms before deciding where to establish their town, which is in a valley with a river (smart planning!). They are constructing a large map of their town as they go and continuing to investigate their central idea: collaboration strengthens communities.
