Lie, Cheat and Steal!
That would be the answer you would get if you asked your average person on the street “what do politicians do?” Especially when it comes to local politicians. It all starts and ends with Cleveland City Council, they seemed to have done everything under the sun to stop the March 17th vote for the Reduction of pay and Reduction of council size from taking place.
This has gone too far!
I don’t agree with taking these issues off the ballot, I also believe the 22,000 people that signed the petition to have City Council reduced and their pay reduced would like their day to vote.
Trying to change the rules, making them up as they go and follow through are all the weaknesses displayed by the Democrat Party this year, from the Federal level to the local level.
When will it end?
Cleveland City Council should have the confidence in its constituents, that they have done a “good enough” job to keep their seats. What are they afraid of? Why are they taking the vote away from the people? Why, would a congress person aid in
voter suppressio
n?
Also, why did they wait until the last minute to take action? These signatures were collected over a two-year period, why wait until 30 days before the election to try to contest them?
One thing I learned being in politics myself is, as elected officials we are responsible for the people we represent. This whole debacle is irresponsible on Cleveland's current elected officials, who are by the way all Democrats.
Now, is the time to vote out the Democrat elites who only have their own best interest in mind not those of the people! Cleveland’s elected officials have: Lied, cheated and stole this primary form the people! I am calling out to the politicians and other pollical candidates that are representing the people, to join in and bring justice. Let our voices be heard in unity.
So, on March 17, 2020: Drink green beer (*responsibly),
request
a Republican ballot
and VOTE SHALIRA TAYLOR for US Congress,
