Introducing a New Synagogue Singles Group

Are you looking to meet new people, make meaningful friendships, and become more involved in our synagogue community?

We are excited to announce the formation of a new SINGLES GROUP for adult members of our congregation of all ages. Whether you are divorced, widowed, or have never married, this group is designed to provide a welcoming environment where you can connect with others who share your values and interests.

We are hoping to enjoy casual dinners and happy hours, concerts and day trips, and any other social events that may be of interest. This is a new group suggested by new member Beth-Lynn Mazzeo of Medford. Our plan is to be involved in music, sports, theater and other fun activities.

We are looking for interest in the group, so feel free to email me or Beth-Lynn if you would like to be involved.

NY Islanders Jewish Heritage Night

Men's Club is considering participating in Jewish Heritage Night at the New York Islanders on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 7PM at the UBS Arena.

Tickets range from 60 to 90 dollars. Kosher food will be available.

If anyone is interested, please contact Phil Lambert at (631) 786-4494.

Social Action Committee

On November 1st there will be a congregation program centering on food… for those in Israel as well as those within our Suffolk community. Think about what non-perishable foods we can collect to help make Thanksgiving dinners for Long Islanders who face food insecurity. I’m looking for canned sweet potatoes, instant potato packets, canned fruits and veggies, cranberry sauce, salad dressings and other condiments, gravies, etc.

As I have asked in the past, when you do your food shopping over the next few weeks, please think about this and purchase one item to put into that metal can in our coatroom. Help me put together an abundant amount of food that will go to the JCC of Suffolk County for distribution in time for Thanksgiving.

With much appreciation,

Bonnie Samuels
