We did it! We just granted $155,000 to 16 nonprofit organizations shaping the future for Maine women and girls.

Grantee Mano en Mano received $10,000 for their childcare program. The organization, which supports Latinx and farmworker communities to live and thrive in Maine, recently opened the Rayitos de Sol ("Little Sunbeams" in English) Bilingual Child Care Center for children in the Downeast area, featured in the photo.
At this moment of recovery and reckoning, it matters who leads us forward, and how. The organizations and initiatives supported through our recent round of grant funding show us what an equitable, caring, and inclusive future can look like."
~ Dani Scherer, Chair of the Maine Women’s Fund Grants Committee
