A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
-Proverbs 11:25
From The Pastor
Wins of the Week
Over the past few weeks, Tomoka has asked for donations to help out with hurricane relief efforts in The Bahamas and you all delivered in tremendous ways:

  • Approximately $60,000 has been raised so far to assist with relief efforts.
  • The DeLand campus recently packed 7,800 meals that will be sent to The Bahamas.
  • A mission team is currently in the Bahamas helping citizens in need.

You all continually step up to the plate when asked to make a difference, and never fail to knock it out of the park! Thank you so much for your compassion and generosity.
A DeLand High School teacher, who is also a partner at Tomoka, was able to purchase individual white boards and dry erase markers for her students with the gift card she received from Tomoka. It's an honor to bless the hard working members of our church who are focused on reaching the next generation. Thanks for all you do!
Around Campus
We're kicking this month off with a drive for Operation Christmas Child. Please consider filling shoeboxes with toys, clothing, toiletries, etc. for a child in need, and drop it off anytime in the Donation Station. This year's goal is to collect 2,500 shoeboxes, and if we reach our goal, Pastor Joe will preach in a Santa suit! Let's make this happen! If you're not sure what items to fill your shoebox with, you can find out everything you need to know at the link below.

We also still need lots of candy at all three campuses for our upcoming Halloween events. Please consider dropping off bags of individually-wrapped candy in the Donation Station along with your shoeboxes.
The Pumpkin Patch is back on Friday, Oct. 11 and will be open through October. If you're ready to do some carving, come on out, take some pictures and grab your favorite pumpkins. All proceeds go toward paying for mission trips. Pumpkin Patch hours are 4 PM to dark on weekdays and 9 AM to dark on weekends. Don't forget to invite your friends!
October is finally here, which means it's time for Tomoka's annual trick or treating events. Each campus will have a unique opportunity for you and your family to enjoy, so check out what's coming up at the link below.
