Virtual Volusia Days Offers Advocacy Peek to Larger Audience
In a normal year, the groups meeting with state agency heads and elected officials during Volusia Days are small to accommodate the size of the offices in the State Capitol building. The virtual nature of this year's events creates an opportunity to have a larger audience participate in the activities.

The Daytona Regional Chamber's annual Volusia Days at the Capitol will take place via Microsoft Teams on March 16-17, hosted by Red sponsors Charter Spectrum, Daytona International Speedway, and Ghyabi Consulting & Management.

Invited March 16 Speakers - State Agency leaders:
  • Kevin Thibault, FDOT Secretary
  • Trey Price, Florida Housing Finance Corporation Executive
  • Dana Young, Visit Florida President
  • Mary Mayhew, Florida Hospital Association CEO
  • David Altmaier, Insurance Commissioner, and more

Invited March 17 Speakers - Legislative Delegation:
  • Senator Travis Hutson
  • Senator Jason Brodeur
  • Senator Tom Wright
  • Representative Elizabeth Fetterhoff
  • Representative Paul Renner
  • Representative Webster Barnaby
  • Representative Tom Leek

Volusia Days is also made possible by White sponsors Florida Power & Light and Foundation Risk Partners as well as Blue sponsor AT&T.

Cost is $25 for Daytona Regional Chamber members, $50 Future members, which includes access to all meetings scheduled on both days. The schedule of speakers is subject to change based on committee meetings and other variables that may affect availability.
