Join Montebello's District Voting Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Montebello will conduct a Public Hearing at City Hall, 1600 West Beverly Boulevard, Montebello, California, on Virtual Website Livestream, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter as the matter can be heard, to consider the following:
The City Council will continue to receive public input regarding the draft City Council district maps presented by ARDA Demographics on February 9, 2022, which were submitted by the public and ARDA Demographics for the City’s transition from an “at-large” election system of electing City Council Members to a “by-district” election system.
*The City Council is considering this change in order to ensure compliance with the California Voting Rights Act of 2001 (“CVRA”). At the public hearing described in this notice, the City Council may receive public testimony to be used in establishing options for district boundaries, pursuant to Elections Code section 10010 and Government Code section

Spring Clean - Yard Sale Weekend is Back!
Get those treasures out because yard sale weekend is back!

When: Friday, March 4 - Sunday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As a reminder yard sales are only permitted on private property four times a year during scheduled City wide yard sale dates.

Next garage sale dates are:

  • June 3, 4, and 6
  • September 2, 3, and 4
  • December 2, 3, and 4
