Visit Grand Rapids is proud to announce the VACATION MEMORIES SWEEPSTAKES. Grand Rapids, MN is an up north destination where generations have been coming to vacation. Known as the outdoor recreation mecca of the north; for our 1,400 lakes and 2,000 miles of trails that are located on over 1 million publicly accessible forest land.

This year Visit Grand Rapids celebrates 40 years of being the destination marketing organization for the greater Grand Rapids, MN area. We love hearing about vacation stories from people who have been coming back year after year.

For a chance to win a Fall Family Trip Package worth over $1,000, submit a current or past Grand Rapids or Itasca Area Vacation Memory (from any season) and ONE image. It is that simple!

There is still time to head north to relax at cozy lodging, reconnect with friends and family, and recharge your soul in Minnesota's nature for Memorial Day.

There are over 300 miles of ATV trails to seek adventure in mixed hardwood and pine forests. There are several cozy lodging properties that have direct access to the trails.

Grand Rapids may be a small town in northern Minnesota, but it is not sleepy! There is always things to do, lots of outdoor recreation to enjoy on our trail, lakes and rivers, and places to be entertained. From Broadway style theater at The Reif Center to meat raffles and bingo at area bars and grills, to weekly live music at craft breweries, there is always something to do in Grand Rapids.

This e-newsletter will focus only on OUTDOORS.
