WEEKLY WRAP UP for Friday, Jan. 3, 2020

A message from your Chamber

We are super excited about the new Taylor sign on Hwy 79 coming into town!
Reminiscent of the sign at the old Carlow Hotel, it speaks with Taylor unique historic voice as it welcomes people to our community.
We will be making plans to go have pictures taken with our heads peeking through the hole and hope you all do, too. How fun it will be for us all to help market our community by posting and sharing these images on social media!!!
If  you are looking for other social media-worthy photo locations, don't forget the wings in Potter's Alley, Bill Pickett statue on Second and Main, the Friendly as a Texan's Smile mural at the corner of Fourth and Main (on the south side of Trouvaille Antiques), the Break On Through mural on the patio at Taylor Station, and the great photo opps on each side of Sweet & Southern Finds -- a giant windmill on the north and Little Town, Whole Lotta Love on the south!
When you post, be sure to share the exact location so others who come to our town can share in the fun!

Forget your banquet tickets?
You really, really don't want to miss the Jan. 14 Chamber Banquet!
We have a few tickets left but have to cut all sales off on Tuesday. Call 512-352-6364 or stop by 1519 N. Main to get your tickets TODAY!

Restaurant space for lease
Sunny G from Best Western stopped by the office on Thursday and asked me to share the word. With Mas Fajitas moving to an amazing remodeled restaurant on Main Street, there is a fantastic restaurant space that will be available at the corner of 79 and Carlos G. Parker.
The restaurant is 3800 sq. ft with a bar, patio and plenty of parking. If you know someone who might be interested in this space, adjacent to the hotel and just south of ERCOT, call Sunny at 512-517-8127. If they leave a message, be sure they say it is regarding the restaurant and he will get right back to them.
