Razing the Roof at the Doylestown Library

In October, contractors began the process of replacing the metal roof at the Doylestown District Center Library. Construction is expected to continue through mid-December. This project is supported, in part, through a grant from the Pennsylvania Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Bureau of Library Development and the Pennsylvania Department of Education, with funds provided by the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund.

While we have made every effort to remain open during the construction, the Doylestown Library will be operating with limited hours through November 22nd. During these dates, the library will be open Monday - Thursday from 5:00 - 9:00pm; Saturday from 9:00 - 5:00pm; and Sunday from 1:00 - 5:00pm. The library will be closed on Friday November 15th and Friday November 22nd. During this period of reduced hours, the library will extend due dates on materials accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.

This project is subject to weather-related delays, which could affect the timeline for completion and the dates when the library will have reduced hours. Please check our website for updates regarding this project before heading to the library.
