Dear Friends,

As Hanukkah approaches and we prepare to light the menorah, candle by candle, we are reminded of the holiday’s timeless values: overcoming darkness with light, the power of hope, the strength of perseverance and the possibility of miracles.

Your support allows us to bring these themes to life through Goodman JFS’ vital services and programs. From lending a helping hand to the vulnerable and addressing mental health challenges to ensuring no one faces their struggles alone, we are here to empower those in need with the resources to succeed. Together, like the menorah’s candles, we light the way forward with compassion and dignity.

As we welcome the New Year, let's continue uplifting our community and inspiring small miracles.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our incredible staff, I wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy and safe holiday season.

Sincerely,

Randy Colman
President & CEO

Don’t Give… Unless You Want to Change Lives

Don’t give… if you believe every senior in our community has enough to eat.

Don’t give… if you think every family has a safe place to live.

Don’t give… if you’re sure no one is struggling with their mental health.

But if you do care... then we need your help.

Every dollar you give during our year-end campaign supports our neighbors in Broward County facing hunger, homelessness and hardship.

Thanksgiving Table Food Distribution

On November 24th, over 100 volunteers and dignitaries came together at The Dorit & Ben J. Genet Cupboard of Goodman JFS to pack more than 600 Thanksgiving meals. Over 200 cars lined up to receive food distributions, while 60 volunteer drivers delivered meals to food-insecure residents across Broward County, including homebound seniors and Holocaust survivors. This event paid tribute to the late Bravo's Top Chef alum Howie Kleinberg, who passed away unexpectedly in 2022.

Susan Kleinberg, Howie's mother, and his sister Amy Wildstein are longtime supporters of Goodman JFS and have spearheaded fundraising efforts for this cause throughout South Florida.
