Congratulations to Ma Wo Ma Sar and husband on their recent marriage! Ma Wo Ma Sar is a former caregiver at Loving Fountain Children's Home and an AFO Scholarship recipient. She is now working and able to finance her own second year at a university in Myitkyina, Myanmar.

Scholarship Program Update: 5 young men and women are currently in university or Bible College with tuition assistance from AFO's Scholarship Program. We are committed to helping young people from remote, neglected villages in Myanmar toward secure, productive futures. Thanks to YOU, our supporters, for making this possible.

NEW LISU BIBLE DEDICATED

The translation team in prayer of dedication for the new Lisu Bible

Pastor Lu writes:

"By God's grace, the Lisu Bible is done and ready to print! We are looking forward to beginning to print in March. Many Lisu people are excited about the new Bibles. We will make the first Bibles available to evangelists and pastors who do not have a Bible.

We are grateful for nearly $58,000 that has been given for this project. Our goal is $100,000. If we could reach that goal, we could print more Bibles, and the cost would be cheaper. I am prayerfully waiting for the Lord's miracle. The Lord is at work, and we continue to look up to Him."

Dear AFO Family -

Pastor Lu has a special prayer request: He needs to get his passport renewed by April 2023.

Pastor Lu has been invited to a missions conference in Norway in the fall of 2023 and his passport expires in October. His passport needs to be renewed in Myanmar, but the coup has closed the passport office in Myanmar. Pray that he can get his passport renewed through the Myanmar embassy in Thailand. We will keep you posted.
