Funding Opportunity: Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A)
The USDOT has released a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. The SS4A program funds planning, infrastructure, behavioral, and operational initiatives to prevent death and serious injury on roads and streets involving all roadway users. Approximately $1.17 billion is available for FY2023. Applications have a deadline of Monday, July 10, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. (EDT). Award announcements are expected to be made by late 2023.

Call for Applications: Civic Engagement, Equity & Environmental Justice
Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG)
Through the Sustainable Communities Program (SCP) – Civic Engagement, Equity, & Environmental Justice Program, eligible applicants access $5 million in funding for projects within the categories of Housing and Land Use Strategies and Multimodal Communities. Proposed project budgets are anticipated to be a minimum of $200,000 and up to $500,000. Applications have a deadline of Monday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m.

SACGOG WantsYour Input: Help create a regional transit network
Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG)
SACOG is developing a Regional Transit Network Plan to improve transit service across the region and provide easy transit connections between cities and counties.

Community members in the Sacramento Region can contribute to the planning effort by sharing input through the Regional Transit survey no later than Friday, April 28, or by participating in one of the virtual community workshops detailed below.

Active Transportation Funding
Pre-Proposals are required for Implementation Grant applicants and are due May 1, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PST. Final applications are due August 1, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PST. Approximately $88.5 million is available.

Applications have a deadline of August 1, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PST. Approximately $9.8 million is available.

Applications have a deadline of August 1, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PST. Approximately $900,000 is available.

A call for projects will be announced in late Spring/Early Summer 2023, with applications due in late Summer/early Fall 2023. Approximately $149 million will be available in the upcoming funding cycle.
Affordable Housing Funding
Applications will be accepted starting April 19, 2023 and due no later than 4:00 p.m. May 17, 2023. Approximately $53 million is available in the current funding cycle.

Applications will be accepted starting April 24, 2023 and due no later than July 28, 2023. Approximately $736 million is available in the upcoming round.

Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Loans have a maximum award of $13.95 million.
Parks
Applications have a deadline of June 1, 2023, before 5:00 p.m. PT. Approximately $30 million is available in the current funding cycle, with a maximum grant amount of $6 million.

Applications have a deadline of June 15, 2023. Approximately $7.5 million is available in the current funding cycle.

Applications have a deadline of June 15, 2023, before 5:00 p.m. PT. Approximately $6.7 million is available in the current funding cycle.
Parks - Regional Funding
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis through June 30, 2027.
Stormwater - Regional Funding
Applications are currently being accepted with a deadline of June 2, at 5:00 p.m. PST. Maximum award of $2 million.

Applications FY22-23 are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, through June 30, 2023. $600,000 is available in the current opportunity, with a maximum award of $200,000.
Transit & Shared Mobility Funding
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. $196.6 million is available for standard HVIP voucher requests.

Applications for shuttle and transit buses are currently being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. $130 million is available in the current funding round.
This program is funded by a grant made through the Transportation, Housing, and Land Use program of Resources Legacy Fund.
