The 14th Annual California Climate & Energy Forum, organized by CivicWell through the California Climate and Energy Collaborative, will be held in person in Santa Rosa, CA, on Tuesday, June 13th, and Wednesday, June 14th.

This year’s forum is focused on Investment, Innovation, and Inclusion: Locals Leading a Clean Energy, Climate-Stable Future for All. Participants will have the opportunity to network with climate and energy practitioners from throughout the state, learn about innovative projects and funding opportunities, and hear from key state agencies and climate leaders. 

The forum is offered at no cost to local governments. Free or discounted registration, as well as financial support for travel and accommodations, is available for people who would like to attend but would also benefit from financial assistance.

Webinar: New Federal Funding - What You Need To Know
America Walks
The webinar will cover the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that will provide billions of dollars for investments in active transportation infrastructure. Participants will learn about the new federal programs for walking and biking infrastructure, upcoming funding opportunities, and the initial steps to prepare your community to apply for funding.

Application Workshop: Clean California Local Grant Program

Join the Clean California Local Grant Program staff on March 15, and learn how to complete the Cycle 2 CCLGP application! Some of the topics that will be discussed during this workshop include the Narrative, Local Match Calculation form, and Scope, Cost, and Schedule form. Subsequent workshops will cover how to complete other parts of the application package. Applications are due on April 28, 2023, by 5:00 pm PT.

Active Transportation Funding
A call for projects for Cycle 2 will be announced on January 2023, with applications due on April 28 2023 by 5:00 p.m. PT. Approximately $100 million is available for the upcoming funding cycle.

A call for projects will be announced in late Spring/Early Summer 2023, with applications due in late Summer/early Fall 2023. Approximately $149 million will be available in the upcoming funding cycle.
Affordable Housing Funding
Applications for Tribal entities have a deadline of March 30, 2023, by 4:00 pm PST. $135 million is available in the current funding opportunity.

Applications for Round 7 are currently being accepted with a deadline of April 4, 2023. Approximately $750 million is available in the upcoming funding cycle.

Parks
Applications for the Spring 2023 cycle are currently being accepted with a deadline of March 30, 2023. A maximum award of $50,000 per town.

Applications have a deadline of June 1, 2023, before 5:00 p.m. PT. Approximately $30 million is available in the current funding cycle, with a maximum grant amount of $6 million.

Applications have a deadline of June 15, 2023. Approximately $7.5 million is available in the current funding cycle.

Vibrant Recreation and Tourism Directed Grant Program
Parks - Regional Funding
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis through June 30, 2027.
Stormwater - Regional Funding
Applications FY22-23 are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, through June 30, 2023. $600,000 is available in the current opportunity, with a maximum award of $200,000.
Transit & Shared Mobility Funding
Applications for the final FY21/22 Allocation Request have a deadline of Friday, March 24, 2023.

Applications for the FY23/24 funding cycle have a deadline of April 13, 2023. Approximately $469.45 is available in competitive grants.

Applications have a deadline of April 13, 2023. Approximately $1.22 billion is available in competitive grants.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. $196.6 million is available for standard HVIP voucher requests.

Applications for shuttle and transit buses are currently being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. $130 million is available in the current funding round.
