Our next round of public community listening sessions begins this month! RCPL Listens provides an opportunity for community members to share their aspirations to help shape the Library’s service priorities for 2023 and beyond.
Targeted listening sessions are available for specific community members, and open sessions are available for anyone who wants to contribute to the Library’s future plans. All sessions are bilingual Spanish/English. Meals will be provided for attendees at in-person sessions.

RCPL ESCUCHA
¡Nuestra próxima ronda de sesiones públicas de escucha comunitaria comienza este mes! RCPL Escucha brinda una oportunidad para que los miembros de la comunidad compartan sus aspiraciones para ayudar a dar forma a las prioridades de servicio de la Biblioteca para 2023 y más allá.
Las sesiones de escucha dirigidas están disponibles para miembros específicos de la comunidad, y las sesiones abiertas están disponibles para cualquier persona que desee contribuir a los planes futuros de la Biblioteca. Todas las sesiones son bilingües español/inglés. Se proporcionará comida a los asistentes de las sesiones presenciales.

Final 2022 Material Donation Event This Saturday!
Our final material donation event for 2022 will be held this Saturday, October 15 from 10am to 12pm! Just drive up and drop off your bags and boxes, very convenient.
Two Locations:
1 - Behind the Downtown Library (note: even though Zoppe Circus is set up in parking lot B, you can still turn into the lot to drive to the back of the library)
2 - In the parking lot of Redwood Shores Branch Library
Wanted Items: Books, CDs, DVDs in very good condition.
Do Not Bring: Anything dirty or more than slightly worn. No magazines, encyclopedias, hard back adult fiction if older than 3 years.

Pop-Up Chemistry
Pop-Up Chemistry is back on Saturday, October 22! Middle school scientists explore different aspects of chemistry. Once a month, join members of the ACS and take part in hands on experiments.

Share, take, and start plant seedlings at Redwood Shores Branch Library. We will have supplies and tips from our Seed Library, with a special focus on native plants and fall/winter food crops.
