Share your insights at a community listening session

Solutions to community challenges are most likely to come from those closest to the issue. That is why your insights and perspective are so important.

The Point32Health Foundation team with the guidance of Health Resources in Action (HRiA) has planned a series of listening sessions to listen and learn from you. What you share will help our team gain greater understanding of community priorities as we plan a new Foundation in service to community.

In the short term (for the next three years), the Foundation will maintain a core focus on healthy aging and nutrition/food security and expand our giving to include support of behavioral health. This work is relevant as the public health crisis exposed the consequences of structural racism, pervasive ageism and inadequate behavioral health.

Please join one of the scheduled community listening sessions listed below. Listening sessions will be led by the team at HRiA.

These 90-minute listening sessions will be held virtually, by state, and are scheduled for:

These facilitated group discussions are open to community partners, advocates, current and former grantees of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan foundations, and others.

If your work touches several regions, please join the session you deem best. If none of these times work, let us know and we can connect another way. We are not limiting our information gathering to these sessions. We also will attend existing meetings of stakeholders, collaborations and coalitions.

We are committed to removing participation barriers. These listening sessions will be conducted in English, however engagement from all is important to us. If you have specific needs to better support your participation (e.g., translation services, financial support, accessibility aids and services, etc.), please let us know in the registration form at least two weeks prior to the session. We will strive to accommodate your needs. Our consultants are available to conduct more personalized conversations in other languages.

Critical to the success of this process is authentic engagement with diverse leaders and organizations to better understand community priorities, especially as we consider how to remove barriers, address disparities and advance equity-focused solutions. Thank you in advance for your participation.

What you share will shape the Foundation’s future strategies. We hope you can join us.
Reminder: New name, same commitment to communities
We launch 2022 with a new name. Point32Health Foundation will build on a legacy of service and giving as we continue to work with communities to support, advocate and advance healthier lives for everyone.

Our new logo features both Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan so we remember the decades of accomplishments we have realized together and the great support we get from our new parent organization.
